Chicago Fire Season 11: Will Kelly Severide be back in the finale episode?

One of the most talked-about characters from the One Chicago franchise was not included in the recently released official synopsis of the much-anticipated Chicago Fire Season 11 finale episode, which the fanbase quickly noticed.

Iif you don’t know Kelly Severide, who works as a firefighter and the company officer for Rescue Squad 3’s second shift. He has given his all to the Rescue Squad job he has. Initially departing in the 200th episode was Spencer. When Spencer departed the programme, his persona was heading to Oregon to take care of Andy Darden’s boys, who had recently passed away. He was also trying to maintain a distant connection with Sylvie Brett. Despite how unfortunate it is that he won’t be in the Chicago Fire Season 11 finale, there is some news that will undoubtedly catch your attention.

For the closing episode, another famous figure like Severide will return. Yes, Jesse Spencer’s Captain Matthew Casey is back as a guest star in Kinney’s place! He has made returns before this season. The CFD notified Casey as he was travelling back to Chicago for a conference that Portland had seen a slew of terrorist assaults within its borders and that other cities, including Chicago, may be targeted.

In the episode “Danger is All Around,” which was the 18th, he even helped Stella and Truck 81 with a rescue mission. In an interview with Deadline at the time, the actor expressed his love for the series and his willingness to return whenever possible. “I always told [series co-creator] Derek Haas that if there were episodes that he thought would be appropriate for me to come back, then I’m totally open to that because I want to see the old gang and I love working there,” Spencer said.

He also stated to TV Insider, “There’s nothing like old friends, and at a workplace that can be a rarity.” Further adding, “I really appreciate that show. I’ve had a soft spot for it, otherwise, I wouldn’t have stayed for 10 years. So coming back is always nice.” So, if you haven’t watched the show yet and want to avoid any further spoilers, have a peek at the official promo to learn more about his surprise appearance in the 18th episode.
