Kelly Clarkson, Eva Longoria bond on love for San Antonio on talk show

 Eva Longoria and Kelly Clarkson praised San Antonio on the singer's talk show on NBC on Thursday, June 8. Longoria also revealed she's moving to the Alamo City from Los Angeles while on The Kelly Clarkson Show.Longoria appeared on the talk show to promote the new film that she directed, 


Flamin' Hot. The movie is a feel-good story of how a Mexican American janitor rose through the ranks at Frito-Lay and was the brains behind San Antonio's favorite snack, Flamin' Hot Cheetos. The movie premieres on Hulu and Disney+ on Friday, June 9.


Before discussing the film, Longoria and Clarkson talked about their love for Texas as both were born and raised in the Lone Star State. Longoria, who's from Corpus Christi, said she misses South Texas so much that she's moving back. Clarkson, who's from the Dallas-Fort Worth area, shared how she misses the Tex-Mex food and loves the Alamo City."I love San Antonio.


 It's a great city," Clarkson said. "They did such a great job...it's just an easy city to walk around. I don't see a lot of places in Texas – it's a driving place, but in San Antonio, I feel like I could walk everywhere, it's like Austin."When mentioning the Tex-Mex food, Longoria defended San Antonio after Clarkson joked the Fort Worth area has the best Tex-Mex food.


"The best Tex-Mex is in San Antonio and South," Longoria said, who calls herself a Texican after living in several cities in the state.
