SEAL Team Season 7 release updates and everything we know

We’re patiently waiting for Bravo Team to get back into the action. When can we expect SEAL Team Season 7? Here’s what we know so far.

There are a few shows that we’re eager to see return. One of those is SEAL Team. It’s a show that remains pretty true to events that could happen to SEALs, thanks to the consultants in the writers room. It’s just also one of those shows that didn’t perform too well in the linear ratings.

The good news is the delayed ratings were there. So, when it came down to it, Paramount+ picked up the show instead of it being canceled. It’s had a good run on the streamer so far, and that is set to continue. The question now is when it will continue.

All eyes are on anything we know about the season so far. There isn’t a lot of information just yet, but we will update this post as more comes out.

When will SEAL Team Season 7 premiere?

As of right now, Paramount+ has not set the premiere date. Despite getting a renewal back in January 2023, the writing wasn’t completed before the May strike started. That means production is on hold.

The cast and crew of SEAL Team are behind the writers. Of course, they would like to get back to work, but only when the writers are adequately compensated. Now it’s just a waiting game.

This is pushing back a potential premiere date. Had filming started in May like what could have been planned, the show could have had a September release date. We’re not looking at that happening now.

Who will return for SEAL Team Season 7?

The only cast member from Season 6 guaranteed not to return is Max Thieriot. Clay Spencer was sadly killed off during the sixth season due to Thieriot’s Fire Country getting picked up. Fortunately, that series was also renewed so he’s not completely out of a job.

Could we see Alana Tal return as Stella? This is possible despite Clay’s death. It would give viewers a chance to see what it’s really like for the grieving widow. The first season had a chance to show this, but didn’t really give us that opportunity in full because it was just the start of the series. Stella is more of an established character at this point to show what it’s like, especially with a baby.

What can we expect in SEAL Team Season 7?

Just like all the other seasons, we’ll likely see the team deal with individual missions to start with. There may be some multi-episode storylines as the sixth season delivered. This shows more of what the teams need to go through when they are sent into dangerous situations without anyone knowing what they’re up to, or that they’re even there.

Then there are the personal storylines. We’ve got a lot going on in the world of SEAL Team with growing families, the grieving process, and trusting new team members. Jason’s TBI is likely to come up more, as he spent some time hiding it and now it is out in the open.
