When is Wednesday season 2 released?
It didn’t take long for Netflix to give the green light to Wednesday season two, with the streamer making it official in early January alongside a special announcement teaser. While we also learned that Ortega will this time serve as a series producer, we sadly don’t have any idea yet of a potential release date.
After cracking a werewolf-shaped case in season one, Wednesday left Nevermore to return home while it closed for the remainder of the semester. When she returns, there will no doubt be a brand new mysterious investigation for her to put her skills towards unpicking — but as to what it will entail? We’re not yet sure.
One thing we do know about Wednesday season two is its tone. During a recent interview with Variety, 20-year-old Ortega let slip about the tone of the show’s second outing, hinting that it will lean more into the world of horror and ditch any detours into romance.
