Jeremy Clarkson leaves fans 'disappointed' after Clarkson's Farm update

Clarkson's Farm will return to Amazon Prime Video with a third season after the hit series received a double renewal following its debut. Season two aired in February this year and it saw Jeremy Clarkson embroiled in a row with locals over his plans for a restaurant at Diddly Squat Farm.

An Instagram account @clarksonsfarmfans posted about the upcoming season, with the caption 'who's excited'. Clarkson himself responded in the comments with a frustrating update, saying: "We actually won’t finish filming it till October. There’s something we are trying which won’t be resolved till then. So it’s a while off yet."

He did not give away anything else about what the cast and producers are testing, which sparked both excitement and disappointment. One fan wrote: "Jeeeeeezus I thought James May took his time. Get yer foot down." Referencing The Grand Tour, another added: "And on that terrible disappointment, it's back to the tent". A third added: "Noooooooo", yet others were happy the show was returning at some point in the future.

One fan wrote: "Could be 2025 and we would all still gladly wait. Every bit is worth the wait." Lieghcresswell shared: "When will it be on can’t wait." Wakeley asked: "Why can’t you have it weekly, like the soaps?! It’d be the funniest soap ever." Another Instagram account, called It's Clarkson's Farm, suggested the new season would air in August 2024.

Ridefatbikes.ca penned in response: "Oohhh nooo. One year wait! One of the best shows on TV!" Clarkson seemed to indicate this would be the case when he was asked by a Twitter fan when season three would air. He replied: "Rough guess? 18 months." The post was shared in March this year, meaning 18 months from then would be August or September 2024.
